Full Disclosure & Privacy Policy
Per the FTC regulations, this is a full explanation of how and when we are compensated on TheWeddingBlogger.com.
In order to help pay all the costs associated with running an online business (hosting fees, domain name, blog design, our time and that of those who help us), there are many ways in which we are compensated.
Opinions on the Website
The integrity of TheWeddingBlogger.com is of the utmost importance to us. We will never promote anything that we fully do not believe in, even if offered to be compensated for it. Likewise, we will not promote something that is not valuable to you, as our reader, nor would we promote anything that does not fit into the specified categories on this site.
Product Reviews
On occasion, we will accept a product review if it lines up with the sites’ overall theme, and we think you, as a reader, could benefit from the information. Never can our opinion be bought, and the product review is 100% our words, our opinions, and our thoughts with 100% honesty. If a product or service is mentioned, and you do not see the disclaimer on the page, we were not compensated for it. It just happened that we thought you might appreciate the information.
Guest Posts
On occasion, we will accept guest posts to be written by others and published on this site, if they line up with the overall theme, and we think you would benefit from the information. Be assured that we only do this with individuals that we believe in, and would be of genuine interest to you.
Affiliate Marketing
Another way in which we are compensated is through sales or leads generated through affiliate marketing links.
Again, it is important for us to mention that we will never put a link up just to make money.
Some of our favorite companies that we use and promote are:
-
Amazon (I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associate Program)
-
eBay Partner Network
-
BlueHost
-
CafePress
-
ShareASale
-
Sovrn (formally VigLink)
Clicking on an affiliate link and making a purchase or signing up for a service will be earning us a commission and helping us to keep this blog going.
Banner Ads
We accept whole-page banner ads for direct selling and network marketing companies. These companies must be approved by us and must be 100% legitimate companies. There are too many scams out there for work at home situations, and we do not take this section of the site lightly. These companies will only be ones that have a proven track record of being scam-free and safe to work for. The leaders who are promoted for each company also have been approved and there will only be one representative per company. we will not advertise two reps simultaneously. During the time frame that a representative has a whole-page banner ad placed on this site, other reps from the same company cannot be considered. This is done to avoid confusion for our readers.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Where necessary, TheWeddingBlogger.com uses cookies to store information about a visitor’s preferences and history in order to better serve the visitor and/or present the visitor with customized content. Advertising partners and other third-parties may also use cookies, scripts, and/or web beacons to track visitors to our site in order to display advertisements and other useful information. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. How to control cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
Controlling Your Privacy
You can change your browser settings to disable cookies if you have any privacy concerns. Disabling cookies for all sites is not recommended as it may interfere with your use of some sites.
